Freddie is a beautiful 14.1/ 14.2 (as wide as he is tall) 7 year old traditional gypsy cob gelding who will excel in any sphere! He is leg in each corner type who takes up your leg very well.
Freddie well established on the flat he works softly and correctly in to a contact and has three well balanced paces with perfect upward and downward transitions, Making him an ideal cob for somebody wanting to do some showing or dressage. Freddie is a responsive type of ride he is nice and off your leg not the type that you need to keep kicking but at the same time has perfect breaks he is in no way sharp or silly!
Freddie is a superstar to jump! He never says no and always tries his hardest for you, he is not phased by fillers or bold fences and will happily jump round a small course of around 80cm, he will jump out of trot or canter and he is always super forgiving to his rider. He also loves to pop a log out in the woods when hacking.
Freddie hacks alone, and in company he will go first or last and doesn’t get het up or Silly in big groups, or open spaces. He is level headed and snaffle mouthed at all times. Freddie is good in traffic etc although he hasn’t done a great deal of main road hacking he takes everything in his stride.
Freddie has impeccable ground manners, he will stand for hours being groomed and fussed and he is a saint around children too. Good to clip/ catch/ load etc. No lumps bumps or sarcoids, open to any vetting.
