A white Boyds Bear holding a red heart. The bear has a shaggy look to it and the heart is a red cotton texture fabric with small white hearts on it. The bear is very soft and light. Although it does not have joints that move, it does have small round hard bits in the neck, arm and leg joints. These feel as though they are wood or plastic and I assume they offer more durability. The body, arms and legs are lightly filled which makes them nice and soft and squashy. The head had been filled firmer but is still squeezy. The eyes are small and are coloured black and brown and made of glass or similar. The nose is black stitching. The plush white fabric has a slightly longer pile which gives the bear the shaggy appearance. The filling is polyester fibres with some PE pellets in the rump. As is often with Boyds Bears the limbs are set at slight angles. The hand pads are made of a very smooth white plush fabric. The soles are made of the same material as the heart. The approx. measurements are: the gull length is 16" 40.5cm), the width across the body from elbow to elbow is 16.1/2" (41.25cm), the body roundness is 7"x5"x3.1/2" (17.75cm x 12.5cm x 8.75cm) & each leg is 7" (17.75cm). It weighs 0.388kg. it dates back to around the yest 2000. It is not suitable for children under 3 years unless with an older person. It is not suitable for dogs either. It has never been played with or handled much. It has been part of my soft toy collection used as decoration which I am mow downsizing. It can be collected, it can be posted or I can meet withing a reasonable distance. I have other items for sale including bears and soft toys and would be happy to combine and do a deal.
