Very sad Sale of Willow our 13.2hh irish cob mare.
13 years old, passported, microchipped and up to date with Vaccinations and farrier.
Iv owned Willow for almost 9 years. I bought her believing her to be younger then she was to grow slightly taller but was mislead on her age. She has been sent for schooling 6 years ago but would benefit from a refresher.
She has been broken to drive and prefers this to riding although she is low mileage.
Willow prefers being in regular work and having a routine. She would benefit from having a light weight confident rider who would be happy to bring her back into ridden work and correct her when she needs correcting.
She has some quirks which I am happy to discuss with anyone. I think with a 1 on 1 home this won't be a problem.
Honest advert as I want her to go to the best of homes. When in regular work she will wait at the gate and call for you as you arrive ! She enjoys having a job and being loved!
Currently a field ornament. Up to date with the farrier, teeth, Vaccinations etc. Recently been showing her in hand and have placed, 1st, two 2nds, 3rd and 4th which has really surprised me. She's a dream to handle.
She's brilliant in open spaces happy to walk through fields. We have been very steady with her and she has done limited jumping or canter work.
Serious enquiries only as this is heart breaking but I really want her to have a job and be enjoyed and loved.
