Advert Description
I bought her as she sits ashore in her free space on a twin axle (pneumatic vehicle size wheels) self launch solid trolley. I have a 4x4 with tow bars front and rear to go with her (If required see info later)? So the whole kit for independent sailing!
I considered her as my swansong boat but, after 62 years of sailing, and due to other factors, I have decided to call time on ownership.
She has the following attributes:
• Original gel-coat topsides with very little wear and tear (will polish up beautifully).
• Good sails including spinnaker and pole.
• Newly refurbished rudder and fixings.
• Top of the range outboard bracket (far superior to the wobbly type and cost over £200)
• 2 x 5 HP twin cylinder long shaft outboard engines (See video after service including gearbox oil by a trusted mechanic). I am told the spare duplicate engine will run as is complete but requires a new carburettor body.
• Swift-tech push button VHF radio.
• Solar roof vent (scored out on roof but requires fitting).
• Diesel air heater (tested ok but requires fitting).
• 2nd Spray hood & frame with good cloth requires new windows (I can instruct how to fit these). Requires non slip deck areas painting (paint supplied
The 4x4 launch retrieve vehicle is a Suzuki Grand Vitara 1.6 2001.
• £700 worth of welding including new floor hangers (both sides).
• New inner and outer sills and related floor structures (both sides).
• New clutch complete 2022 with new clutch master cylinder.
• Refurbished 4x4 vacuum pump, good brakes and tyres all 5.
• Tow bars front and rear.
Drives nicely straight and true but needs tidying as the vehicle is scruffy.
