Good old Murphy is looking for a part loaner to have lots of fun with. Ideally a small adult or teen but also happy to consider a younger child. Children will always need to have an experienced adult with them.
Murphy is a 13.3/14hh Welsh pony. He is the biggest character! Loves nothing more than lots of attention & scratches. Absolutely anyone can ride him. He will plod along for the less experienced or nervous riders but step it up a notch for those wanting to have some excitement. My older teen has enjoyed lots of fun with him attending pony camp, clinics, XC days out & hacking all over but I have also been able to pop my complete novice small children on him to plod around on.
He is about as bombproof as they come. Good with traffic, farm machinery, to tack up, groom etc.
Murphy has enjoyed a varied life while with us but at 20 years old he is ready to enjoy a quieter life of hacking. We are ok with the odd bit of arena work but we are not looking for someone who wants to do lots of jumping or schooling. He LOVES getting out for a good hack.
We are located on a lovely friendly yard in Norden with tons of local hacking routes.
Our ideal part loaners must be experienced enough to be able to handle/groom/tack up themselves as I do not have time to teach anyone the ropes. You would be welcome to bring your own instructor.
Can be quite flexible with days/times with prior arrangement. He does also have another part loaner currently. Ideal if you could also help with stable jobs while there but this isn’t essential. Murphy getting out & having fun is the priority.
