Fern is a Palomino Arabian x Irish Draught
She is 15.1h and 16 years old but she has plenty of life in her!
She needs to be in work 5/6 times a week. She would go crazy if she wasn’t :)
Over the years she has hunted for 4 seasons, used for endurance riding and cross country. She is not a massive fan of show jumping but will pop a course of 90cm if she has to.
Hacks best in company, will nap if hacking alone and can be a little joggy on the way back if she’s alone.
She needs a companion, I will not sell to a home with no other horses/ponies. She loves to make friends.
Good on the ground, a very sweet mare but definitely needs her person! Someone who can dedicate their time all to Fern.
Fern is a second pony as although never done anything nasty with me, she can be strong but absolutely easy peasy for an experienced rider. Works nicely in an outline for an experienced rider. She can be ridden in the school by a novice under the guidance of an experienced rider.
This is a very reluctant sale and one I just don’t know if I can do.
Home far more important than money and a contract will be in place. If sold on she must come back to me.
Again, this is a hard decision for me and she has to go to the right home. She’s a sensitive soul who deserves the best and I need to fee right about where she goes. I’ve put a lot of time in this horse. Would love to stay in touch!
