AJ is a cheeky chap who loves a job to do, he does occasionally like to pop a celebatory buck but no malice, but you need to know how to sit a buck though! He is barefoot, upto date with everything. Loads great.
He has the most awesome jump over one metre with scope but he will happily pop smaller courses. He has been with us for three years and has qualified for schools, unaffiliated, hunter trials, badmington etc and enjoyed every minute! This is a very sad sale and we are only selling him due to my daughter out growing him and my son already having his own pony.
We don't have trial facilities at home but happy to meet at a local arena near us.
AJ will come with tack and rugs, he is ridden in a happy mouth bit because he doesn't like being pulled in the mouth, he will just speed up so if you ride him with longer reins he is happier.
He is full of character, will try to nip your bum whilst cleaning his hooves out or if you ignore him to stroke another pony! Not nasty just down right cheeky!
He was only backed three months when we bought him, he used to hack out alone but he has only hacked out with two others with us because my three children hack together so he has got used to company but if that's worked on i would imagine he would be OK! He is only 9 so please don't expect a been there and done it, he is still green at times and gets his confidence from his rider so only capable soft handed riders need enquire because otherwise you won't suit him.
Loves being clipped, needs to be sedated for teeth. Great for farrier, loves being groomed and fussed! Will stand at the lorry on his own and travels well.
