I am a 14 yr old Female, and I am looking to share a horse.
As long as the yard is local, mum and others will transport me!
I would prefer for there to be no financial contribution but if it’s a small amount - can be negotiated.
I am more than happy to help out with all the work needed in the yard (Poo-picking, mucking out, water, feed, grooming etc)
in return for riding.
My current experience with horses consists of:
I am currently at a livery yard in my village, I help out with poo picking, looking after the horses (grooming, mucking out, water etc)
and in return i get a few rides on a 14.3hh cob pony who can be a bit of a handful at times. we are riding around once every week and in those sessions i can walk her on my own, doing figures of eight and serpentine's, so steering training. Done some leg yielding, poles and i have trotted her on the lunge and have dealt with some minor spooks and cantering off when not supposed too!
I have been out hacking once with an instructor and have had 2 riding lessons on a school pony. I have cantered and trotted over a raised pole
I have ridden my friends 15.2hh once and trotted on her.
I am a beginner but once used to the horse i can be a confident rider
