Looking for a loaner for freckle due to her current loaner giving her up when she starts college
Freckle is a 12.3/13hh Dartmoor hill pony mare. I would class freckle as more of a second pony type. She would suit a confident child with a ‘horsey parent’ or a small teenager/adult
I’ve owned freckle for 10 years and backed her myself so I know all of her history
She schools nicely and will hack alone or in company and is very safe but forward. She can be a little stubborn with a novice rider, but never silly. Freckle jumps well but requires holding together and placing well into the jump else she will run out, so she can be a bit difficult for a child who is only learning to jump. I have videos of her current loaner jumping her and riding her at the beach which I’m happy to send for you to see
Freckle would suit someone looking for a happy hacker, something just to have fun in, or there is no reason she couldn’t go out to pony club or shows
I would consider letting freckle move yards but she must be kept on restricted grazing. All bill including teeth, vaccinations, farrier and livery to be covered by loaner
