His foundation bred sire Rowley Late Arrival (Sedgehill Gold) widely known for his truly unflappable temperament, there are not many stallions you could walk out onto 18 acres with throw a rope halter on and ride bareback whilst he overlooks his mares.... His dam Cat Ballou is out of an imported mare and by The Drinks R On Me she was one of the first Quarter horses I had owned and is a firm staple of our breeding program passing on her kind nature to all of her foals, Cat and Rival really are a dream pairing and with Cat soon to enjoy a well earned retirement there may not be many future chances to obtain a foal from this particular pair...
