Advert Description
Peggy is nearly five and a half year old show type cocker spaniel. Sable. KC registered. PRSD PRA FN clear on her. I have had her tested more recently and have certificate but her registration will have been updated online. Peggy is a family dog so not suitable for kennel life . She's always been reactive around food and I hoped as time went on it would calm but unfortunately it hasn't and it's become more of a worry now I have a young grandchild with the food situation and sad to say I'm admitting I can't let this continue . She is only food aggressive to dogs not humans, if food is dropped or she think she wants it my old bitch get attacked . She's loving affectionate, house trained and really a great dog in all other ways. Happy sleep downstairs or on your bed if aloud She needs a home with no other dogs so this food aggression isn't a issue. I can't see there would be a problem if she's taken out of this situation. I have had a dog trainer and she agree it's a dangerous situation and escalating. She is nervous around strange dogs but great with children. We don't have a cat so I can't say how she would get on with 1. I'm happy to offer support where I can and always available for questions although I truly believe she would great in a only dog household and doubt I would be needed. I would love updates though if possible as this hasn't been a easy decision as she is very much loved and it's important she finds the right home for her
