Tentatively looking for a trustworthy and reliable person to lightly hack out my super boy, a few days a week, to help keep his weight in order. Typical good doer who has EMS.
Full up 13.2hh, so looking for a small, lightweight adult, or, super sensible teen required (10 stone weight limit).
Any days to suit you, however, must be during the week as well, not just for weekends.
Would need to spend time getting him fit and absolutely no cantering him around! He is a lightweight hack due to previous injury and being partially sighted. If you are looking to jump on and bomb around, he isn't for you.
He is a school master and has impeccable manners to handle. Hasn't been in consistent work for around a year (hence not at his fittest), but you can get on him after months off and he wouldn't put a hoof wrong, he has always been my Mr reliable. I'd trust him with anyone, he hasn't got a bad bone in his body. This is what makes it an incredibly hard decision for me to trust others with him, as I don't want him falling in wrong hands. My main priority is to keep him safe and I will only loan him to the right person.
As amazing as he is, I'd like someone who can ride, confident novice is fine. He has done more than his fair share of teaching people to ride etç, he deserves to just enjoy hacking out and about. He does still have some go in him (ex competition pony) so not a completely boring ride, he just enjoys life in the slow lane (most of the time ??).
Small financial contribution required, to make sure people just don't want a free ride! More importantly I'm looking for someone to love and respect him like their own. Yard jobs required, although no mucking out as that will be done.
Stabled on a private yard so must be ok with own company and be 100% trustworthy. We do have CCTV. Stabled in Basildon, near the hospital.
