I am selling my Avaris Road bike which is 13 months old. I bought it to help my recovery from a replacement knee opp which is now complete. The bike features a Shimano Claris groupset with 16 gears and excellent disc brakes which are really effective. The bike is pedal assist and uses a Samsung battery which is integrated into the down tube of the bike and can easily be removed by unlocking for charging. The manufacturer claim 50 to 80 kilometres on a full charge. I can't verify this as I prefer to use Zero assist only using the motor when going up hills. 5 levels of assist are available and to be honest I find level 1 breezes me up most hills.The bike has built in mudguards to keep you drier in rainy conditions. The computer tells you your current speed and total mileage and other details of your ride such as trip distance.It can be Bluetooth paired to K Display app on your phone to give you much more info on your ride. It also displays what level of assist you are using and the current state of charge of your battery.The bike has done approx 400 miles only and the battery has never been run empty so the battery should last years as it has only needed part charging since I bought it new. I really do like this bike but I have a lightweight non electric road bike in which to continue my recovery with. The frame size is small, i am 5 ft 6 inches and the seat is low down so will accomodate people smaller than me as well as much taller people. Unfortunately due to bike thieves a test ride will not be possible A full inspection can be had of the bike to satisfy yourself of its worth.Payment by bank transfer only. Once the money is in my bank account the bike will be released. If you look online for this bike new, it is out of stock and not expected to be in stock until sometime soon with a price tag of £1999 . This is the perfect bike for commuting to work or countryside rides
