Advert Description

The Scarpa Maestro Womens is the low volume version of Scarpa's performance big wall and multi-pitch climbing shoe, which will suit climbers with narrower feet. The first shoe in the Maestro family, the Maestro Womens features an entirely original construction designed for comfort on longer climbs and strength on micro footholds and small crystals. This is Scarpa's most technical performance shoe that's designed for all day comfort.
Everything on the Maestro Womens is new. The full length 1.1mm/1.4mm Talyn midsole provides a high level of stiffness to support the foot for longer climbs, edging, and standing on small crystals, but, to cater for slabs and more featureless climbing, Scarpa have punched three holes in the front section of the midsole to allow the toe area to flex and smear. The IPC-Tensions active randing system is similar to the Bi-Tension system, but it adds a third strip under the sole of the shoe to provide additional strength on edges and micro footholds. And, the Vibram XS Edge rubber sole combined with a Grip 2 compound heel balances firmness and softness.
The Maestro Womens' straight and slightly downturned shape with a medium-to-low angled toe box can be worn with the toes in a semi-knuckled or flatter toe position, depending on your personal preference - performance or comfort. The upper is a combination of microfiber and leather to create a compromise between comfort and stretch reduction. The full-length leather base with seamless big toe and four-toe panels allow the toe box to gently mould to the shape of your foot, naturally. With this in mind, expect the Maestro to stretch up to a half size.

I have only worn them a handful of times. Bought them too small.
