This wheelchair accessible vehicle is a 2018 Ford Tourneo Connect Titanium with the 1.5 TDCi engine and powershift automatic gearbox. From new it was registered with the current number plate. It is a wheelchair vehicle that we have sold previously so is a two owner vehicle. It did start life as a former Motability Scheme vehicle and comes with full service history. It has covered 13,800 miles from new (approx 2,300 miles per year) and is finished in metallic slate grey. It is a credit to its former keeper who has meticulously cared for this vehicle.
The Ford has been converted for wheelchair access use by Bristol Street Versa Conversion. They have lowered the rear floor and provided a manual wheelchair ramp . There are wheelchair securing straps with include rear manual belts and a 3-point safety seatbelt as standard. This is a rare vehicle, not many short wheel base Connects were made with five seats so can be used as a standard vehicle (or three seats plus a wheelchair) and ample space for a wheelchair or mobility scooter. There are front electric belts and rear manual belts and of course a 3-point safety seatbelt.
Other specifications to this vehicle includes five doors - which also include an up and over tailgate - providing some shelter in the rain. There is privacy glass to the rear. We have reverse sensors which help with vehicle manoeuvring and parking. There are electric front and rear windows as well as electric mirrors (which do fold). The vehicle has a CD player with DAB radio as well as Bluetooth connectivity. We have two keys and remote central locking. There is air conditioning - a useful tool whatever the season. We also have driver, passenger and side airbags. As this is a Titanium model it has a panoramic glass roof, cruise control, alloy wheels and auto lights.
