These are Diapherodes Gigantea stick insects bred by me since 2003 feeding on clean long bramble branches native of Granada now bred by me , keep in a high fine meshed cage females are large and green when adult males are brown and thin when adult very fine water sprinkle when the weather is warm, do not touch when they are casting their skin in order to grow they will hang from a branch to do this do not touch at this moult as they can miss moult and perish when adult the females are bright green and large males are slim and brown in colour and can fly so shut windows in case of escapes they are easy to catch .
