Scale Model Bus WILTS AND DORSET 1950s BRISTOL

The actual vehicle this splendid model represents belonged to the long gone Wilts & Dorset Company and, although built to coaching specifications could be used on local services in off-season periods, or whilst other vehicles were being serviced, to carry passengers in comfort: hence the term “dual purpose”.

In its smart red and cream livery, it is a reminder of simpler times, before the advent of Stagecoach, Arrival and the likes and has never been out of its box (see specimen).
