An Early Vintage Halford Powder French Chalk Tin. It's says; Finest Quality for Cycles & Motor Tyres.

It still contains it's original chalk & was produced in Birmingham. It would have been used to repair punctures, not just on bikes but also motorbikes & cars.
I believe it to be quite an early example.

In expected used condition for an item of this age & nature. Lots of scratches & bits of paint missing. I have seen far worse examples too.

Approx 4 1/2" long.
