Advert Description

The price reduced to cover the ONE good condition Planter/Jardinière, the other Planter/Jardinière with no bottom is F.O.C.
Inherited a few years ago.
So very little knowledge!
Historically designwise age I would guess is quite old.
The one F.O.C has no bottom in it but can still be made into a container for plants etc.
The measurements are
approx:- 133/4 inches overall width, Rim measurement 12 1/4 inches. Height 10 3/4 inches.
On testing the metal shows the colour of Bronze.
Definitely not the individual colour of either copper or brass.
They both weigh very heavy, the one with no bottom weighs 5 KG and the one complete in shape should weigh a bit more.
It should be quite easy to make a circle of ply and insert into the bottom to make a base.
If necessary to create a base for the bottomless pot, a plastic water plant tray should fit easily to take overspill of watering plants.
Using my experience of garden/d.i.y, a good strong heavy duty plastic 10 kg bag used for sand/ballast would be easy to fit in the bottom and then fill with soil or compost would also work to use for a permanent plant.
My D.I.Y experience is 61 years and Gardening experience is 75 years.
